Thanks for visiting my site. You are a welcome guest! Please make yourself at home. If you have something to contribute (say an article or comments), there are lots of places to put in your two cents or more. This site exists to inform, educate, and encourage so please make sure your comments fit along those same lines.

Let me know if there is anything you want to see on this site - some question answered or some topic discussed. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I'm more than happy to open up discussions where we can all learn from each other. Remember that there is a God and He will reward those who are seeking after Him!


I intend to update this page with all kinds of information on the Christian faith, so you can find out what it's all about. Nobody should ever ask you to check in your brain at the door. Investigate whether there is credible evidence in history, science, and everyday life to confirm the existence of God and show whether the Bible is in fact from God. Let's look at the evidences and criticisms that are out there and see if we can't cut through the clutter and get to the truth. We'll look at the basic facts upon which Christian faith is based, and then for the truly curious, we'll dive into what the Bible says about our lives today and the days just ahead.

This is the time of year that has been chosen to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus. With that in mind, I want to wish you a happy and joyful Christmas.

Regardless of when Christ was actually born, we can know this: God became flesh and dwelt among us -- born so that he could be our "high priest ... aquianted with our weakness" and be the sacrifice that took away our sin.

New Article - Discernment
I've written a new article. This one is probably more for my benefit - to formalize my intentions and focus as I prepare for future articles.

What is 'discernment' and how should it be used? What things require discernment? How should error and false teaching be handled? These are the kinds of questions I am thinking about. Read the article and let me know what you think.

Long time since last update...


It has been a bery long time since my last update, and I will do my best to work on the following items

  1. finish the articles that are already listed (a few have big gaps)
  2. post some new articles, especially related to the Gospel and house church issues
  3. find a pretty design for the pages - the old design was for fall and winter, and this one is a bit dull.

If you have articles or ideas please let me know. Use the forum or check out my Member info page to get my email address. I may also have a messenger thingy I can activate -- where'd I put my list of gadgets? ...

Maybe I can get something posted before the Rapture!

There is an email discussion list for believers in the Midland TX area. This is primarily for those of us who meet together in homes. I have copied articles from my old site, and I am working to polish the interface and other content.

The nice look and feel you are experiencing is from a content manager called e107, and it is one of the many free tools available on the Internet. If you have a web site and would like to have a CMS like this one, contact me and I'll be glad to point you in the right direction.
